DJ Ritu
East London born DJ Ritu began her career as a pop music DJ, before moving into global beats. Gaining in reputation as a 'Bhangra expert' she began touring internationally in the nineties as a solo DJ and later with her legendary bands Asian Equation and Sister India. Ritu currently manages the leading Bollywood club in the country Kuch Kuch. She also presents two weekly radio shows, her long running Asian music programme on BBC Radio 3 Counties and her highly acclaimed programme 'A World in London' now at SOAS Radio previously on BBC Radio London. Ritu continues to tour internationally.
